As we operate as a University society, your role in the society is voluntary and you will receive special HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Recognition) recognition on your transcript for your involvement. Additionally, you will be involved in numerous exciting projects through out the year, gaining incredible experience and making meaningful connections.

We also offer some short-term experience opportunities which involve working on tasks within the society, which will allow you to improve your skills and gain some great experience in a range of projects offered by WiB.

2024 Easter/Summer Experience
Opportunity: Digital Marketing - Brand Design

Within this role, your responsibility involves creating graphics and templates for various digital platforms, including social media, presentations, newsletters, and prime-facing documents. Additionally, the role extends to assisting in the design of society fair stalls to enhance brand visibility and engagement. However, the most significant responsibility entails crafting a comprehensive brand guideline document. This document serves as a foundational resource for maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints and includes key elements such as brand mission and values, logo usage guidelines, colour palette specifications, typography guidelines, imagery style guidelines, and, tone of voice guidelines. The experience will involve being given a list of tasks to complete within a 2 week timeframe - however, you will finish once tasked are completed. If you wish to go into marketing, this is perfect as you'll have a testified portfolio.

This is a volunteer opportunity including a great experience. You will also be given a LinkedIn reference from our Presidents as a thank you and will meet some key contacts on the journey. Further, you will be given a profile on our website and special access to our events through out the year. This is a perfect way to boost your CV and get involved in a multi-national project.

2024 Easter/Summer Experience Opportunity:
Mentorship Network

This unique opportunity will involve being given tasks related to: marketing, growing a network, creative thinking, launch planning, member outreach, email marketing and much more! The experience will involve being given a list of tasks to complete within a 2 week timeframe - however, you will finish once tasked are completed. Within this role you will be given responsibility to build our mentorship network with local business owners in Liverpool through communications, networking (either online or with in-person events) and programme development - focused on retaining the interest of local businesses and leaders in our society.

2024 Easter/Summer Experience Opportunity: Educational Content Contributor

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Educational Content Contributor for the Women in Business (WIB) society. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and producing engaging educational content that aligns with our mission of promoting gender equality and empowering women in the business sphere. You will brainstorm topics, conduct research, and create written or multimedia content, aimed at educating and inspiring our audience. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, while making a meaningful impact in advancing gender equality and women's leadership within the business community.
